Fragrance:

Blueberry syrup, perfume, sticky, durian, creme, blueberry, earthy, moss, floral, sweet, pungent, cherry trees, strawberries, fruity, citrusy, angel cakes

Aroma:

Strange, sweet but soft, light, wafer, syrupy, doughy, sweet, sweet scones, smells bitter or chemically like medicine, raspberries, pecans, bananas, fruity, shampooed scalp, sorta warm

Break:

Alcoholic

Brightness:

Low, jolty, not too, bitter, woodsy, not good, like a thin syrup

Flavor:

Creamy, smokey, bubblegum, juicy yet heavy, tastes confused, dark, roasted caramel, flowery, slightly burnt peaches n’ cream, bitter fruits, rinds

Body:

Heavy (x3), creamy, medium heavy

Aftertaste:
Dark, syrupy, warm, pleasant, bittersweet

Likes:
Complexity, I like the strong flavor of this coffee, the fragrance and aroma (x2)

Dislikes:
Not balanced (x2), the flavor is sweet but it has a slightly burnt taste, body, bitter tones

Descriptions:
The initial fruit and smoke lead me to believe I was going to love a similar Zeke’s roast experience; quite a nice surprise although heavy in body the fruit notes were great. Pour over or chemex would help this.

The cup is dynamic in essence. Its sticky, durian-like fragrance is indicative of its sweetness. The aroma is subtle and soft with a light sweetness. The brightness is jostling, with a rich and complex flavor profile. It’s juicy yet heavy, with a range of tastes: almost caramel in sweetness, yet with a roast. This heavy body is filling and finishes syrupy.

Sweet smells of creme and blueberries, with dirty, mossy undertones. Minimal brightness and a fresh flowery flavor. Creamy body and a warm lingering aftertaste.

This is a very strong coffee with a strong floral flavor. Reminds me of the Sidama. It’s full bodied with notes of an alcoholic beverage and the chemicals in cough syrup.

This is a medium and heavy bodied cup of coffee that is complex. The delicious smells of strawberries, raspberries, pecans and bananas with delight. The only set-back this coffee has is a slightly burnt taste in the flavor. The flavor does have notes of peaches n’ cream but it’s hard to enjoy fully when there’s that slightly burnt taste.

This coffee packs strong berry odors, with hints of citrus fruits. Its body is heavy and its brightness both crisp and syrupy. Bitter fruit and rinds and overripe berries compile the flavors. A bittersweet aftertaste lingers.

Break:

Body:

Medium (x2), creamy, light, crisp yet heavy

Aftertaste:
Burnt, fruity, long, smokey, toast

Likes:
Balanced, aromas, fragrances, none

Dislikes:
Flavor was a little letdown, none

Descriptions:
This peppery fragrance fills the break with boiled potatoes and strange flavors. Initially reminding me of popcorn, maybe turning toward orange, with whole, rounded sensibility. The body compliments with a medium take but the aftertaste is burnt.

Unlike cup number 15, this coffee started out strong with a great body. An unusual yogurt type acidity and subtle fruit such as strawberries.

Faint hints of wet earthy flavors roasted away in the fragrance. Smokey and woodsy flavors with the sour sweetness of tree sap. Creamy body and smokey aftertaste.

This cup was zesty and light bodied. Its fragrance and flavor were both the same – banana peppers, fresh baked bread and pickles.

This coffee has fragrances of rich dark chocolate, deep vanilla, and hints of ashes. Crisp, semi-bright, and a little heavy, the coffee sits well in the mouth. Flavors of toast makes for a disappointing end.

This bean is totally lacking. The flavor is so light that I had difficulty trying to describe what it tasted like.

Fragrance:

Bitter, vegetables, maple walnut, sweet potato pie, rootveg, carrot cake, faint, backyard in the summer, Folger’s

Aroma:

Popcorn, toasted nuts, honey ketchup, pickles, onions, gardens, buttery

Break:

Flower, bread

Brightness:

Eh, yes, watery, woodsy

Flavor:

Vegetable concoction, bitter, carrots, smushy vegetables, fruits, syrup, tomato, lima beans, sweet vegetable soup, lemons, like chewing on a pencil

Body:

Medium, tea-like, light (x2)

Aftertaste:
Sour, dull, cleansing, vague, dissipating

Likes:
Lemon flavor, faintness, the buttery lipid-like aroma

Dislikes:

Vagueness, very woodsy

Descriptions:
This coffee doesn’t appeal to me. It’s what you see is what you get. It smells like bitter vegetables and toasted nuts. The brightness lacks for me. The flavor is a simple vegetable concoction, like bitter carrots is a broth, leafy and fibrous. The aftertaste is sour and generally ok.

This cup had a great fragrance and aroma but the cup fell short in flavor. Only notes that were pulled out were musty and veggies. This coffee suffered from being on the same table next to other coffees.

Bittersweet smells of beets and turnips, honey and ketchup. A strong but low toned brightness with flavors of fruit syrup and tomato, a tea-like body and a cleansing finish.

This light cup of coffee is a delicious flavor of lima beans and sweet vegetable soup. It was very tasty and i would drink it again.

Gardens, plants, and citrus flavors comprise this cup. Light and watery, the coffee falls short. Its vagueness makes you question if it’s coffee you’re drinking.

This coffee smells very different than it tastes. It tasted like wood or smoked wood. Also felt very flat on my tongue.
